A first gen part that is about to become extinct.

I wanted to drop you all a quick post to let you know that the O.E.M. windshield washer tank for the FB is about to become extinct.

My Mazda dealership parts manager told me that there are only 3 (I bought one so make it 2) left in the country.

The price was $33.00 I am not sure if this matters to anyone but mine has a leak so I needed to replace it.

I am not authorized to sell the item, but if anyone wants to know anymore information you can PM me and I will give it to you. Otherwise I am sure that you can go to your local dealership and get it. (and pay retail )

My parts manager has been pretty good at finding discontinued stuff laying on shelvs at dealerships all over the country, If anyone has any requests please post them and I will do my best to find out if the part is available.

Now, I am sure someone is gonna say that this is the wrong forum for this and it should be in "parts for sale" so i am gonna respond now.... Shut up!

Thanks
Jay

I am sure there are some people that will want to get one of these, so thanks for telling us.

I've got a couple on the shelf and I would assume that VB and other aftermarket people will have them for a while but for lots of $$$. $33 for a new one is not bad.

BTW- the clutch fork is also not made by Mazda anymore. I would be interesting to compile a list of parts that are discontinued.
