First gen a/c condenser

Just got a new ac condenser for my first gen off eBay for $56 bucks n it came with an accumulater . To my surprise the thing fit perfect to all the lines!!! I had to mess with the brackets . Drill some holes n what not but the thing surprised me . N I'm very happy. Cause u can't get a replacement "anywhere" I checked everywhere!! Tried to repair my old one ($85) . So I was sol. So if anyone needs a first gen n wants their a/c back here's everything u need ( besides O rings) CNFP 1480 kt. $56.. highly recommended if u want ur ac back. Just thought I'd put this out there cause our parts are getting more harder to find . Good luck

That's cool, no pun intended. And that's a great first post, contributing right away.

Reading the post it's not exactly plug and play...some fabrication involved.

That's all well and good but you should really take the car to a shop and have them put a vacuum on the system and add the correct amount of oil and refrigerant. This will ensure there are no leaks and that the system is properly charged.

That's a sweet find! Got any pictures of your install? Aren't there additional parts you'd need, besides a compressor?
