First Drive!

My son and I have been working on an '81 together for a year or so. He just passed his driving license. This is him leaving on his first solo. Check out the face!

Absolutely the best thing in the world right there! That kid is hooked for life! Definitely the exact same way I felt on my first drive in an RX-7!

I wonder how many of us here took our driving test in an Rx-7?

The SE I drive today is the car I took my driving test in, which may be even more rare. It's part of the love story that keeps us going, when all logic and reason points to newer vehicles.

Mine was dark green. My dad drove it for 12 years then I got it my senior year of high school. It was pretty beat up but it usually got me where I needed to go.
