Finally!! Got it together!

I finally got my car back together. Now the fun part of working out the bugs. What little bit I've driven it, it's a pure f**king beast. Turbo's spool up like crazy. I can't wait until I get everything straightened out. Here's a few pics(I hope)

Looks good.

I notice you've got that same annoying backwards facing throttle body inlet as me. I'd really like something with less bends in it, how about you?

Anyway, good job.

Like the engine bay. Don't like the wing or the front screen or clear lights(on my opinion I must stress). I DO like the lack of side molding and no side lights. Very clean look is good. Interesting paint scheme under the hood though. Is the dark color orginal color?

Looks good. I'd rather have my BOV closer to the throttle body.

i know he was going to drive to nopi but it got finished the day b 4 so he didnt... the fans are pushers ...in front of the rad... and that helps pull air into the ic. i thnk its a 89+ motor and its running a stock ecu.

I really like it . Nice job . And yes, what kind of body kit is that? It looks like the Wings West Wing (or Mazdatrix?), but I dont know anything else. Thats actually the wing that I was looking at for my car, but I was unsure if I wanted to loose the access to my rear hatch .

Throwing in my change... I like the lack of molding and side lights; I want to do that to my own after I get her running. The kit looks very clean, even with the wing (which I'm usually against).

... and I just realized that that's the same color and wheels I'm looking at. Damn... okay. Except for the new bodywork, you did exactly what I want to do to my car. But probably better than I will.

Nice work.

Stock ECU? Not Bad at all. He's gonna have to post information on how he wired it in. You know everybody is going to want some wiring schematics or how-to's on this setup.

You can save a shitload of money doing a stock TII swap with TII goodies.

The body is not bad either.

Thanks guys. Just got back in, so I'll try to answer some of the questions.

The body kit is the standard kit that you can get from Mazdatrix. I just got tired of the square lights and re-designed with round. The mesh over the hole is mainly for bushwhack purposes. If you're standing in front, it's kinda hard to see the intercooler. They'll never know what hit 'em. The wing is a Wings West. You don't really lose alot of entry in the rear hatch with it. I can still haul some pretty decent sized things in mine.

The engine is an 87 Turbo "block" with everything else from an 89. It's mostly stock, except for a large street port and Blitz BOV.

The color of the engine bay. The car was originally gold(many moons ago). I went with black when I first repainted it because the engine was still in. Afterwards, I thought it really makes the engine stand out.

The fans are pushers in front of the radiator. I may have to move them though. They don't seem to be pushing enough air to keep it cool enough.

The air intake is also routed in front of the radiator.

I think that's about everything.

Looks very nice, is that a small Isuzu NPR IC I spy in there?

Is this your first turbo car? Man mine scares me... I have been driving it taking it easy on it... 1st I get a small amount of boost, in 2nd it pulls like crazy... I m trying to take it easy on it, but its hard to have a 1st gen with a shitload of power and not kick it a little..

Good job there man

great looking ride. bet it's a kick to drive

some people here have asked about the body kit. i have the exact same side skirts and rear apron for sale $225. Used and very good shape, with blue paint on it. No front air dam. I can bring it to Seven Stock this Saturday if you want to buy.
