Thanks. I got lucky on the welding, in that a friend of mine runs an exhaust shop. Told him what I needed and he did it.

Is this your first turbo car? Man mine scares me... I have been driving it taking it easy on it... 1st I get a small amount of boost, in 2nd it pulls like crazy... I m trying to take it easy on it, but its hard to have a 1st gen with a shitload of power and not kick it a little..

Good job there man
Yeah, it's from a Starion. Yeah, it's my first Turbo car. Hadn't scared myself too bad yet. Just mainly trying to get used to it and working out little bugs. The car has been sitting for over a year(I was in Korea), so there are a few gremlins to work out.
Mine is the same way. It just wants to haul ***. Spools up real fast.
Being from KY, have you ever dealt with Lou at Shear Performance in Richmond? He is a friend of mine that used to work on my car from time to time(I'm from Richmond).
Anyway, good luck in your project.
Mike

Nice job there! Really like the color!

All neat and tidy in the engine bay like it should be!

I like what you have done with the body, the clean sides look really good.

Bring the suspension down an inch and it will look super clean.

Big Lou is pretty well known, but I'd be surprised if Mike had heard of him in Owensboro. (That is kind of in the sticks!! ) Car looks great, and is what I had hoped to accomplish when I bought the TII from the junkyard. I sometimes hate the fact that it was so easy to fix it, because all of those parts were earmarked for the 80...
