fender smashed
OK, my girlfriends mom backed into my car this morning and dented the ds rear fender pretty bad. I havent gotten it looked at yet, but i think it will cost a LOT to fix because there is some rust in that area and if you try and pound the dent out the body will fall apart
. I am pretty sure the insurance company will just say my car is totaled
.
how much money do you think i will get? I really want to get a new rex without rust, and i am hoping this will supply me with some money to do it.

speaking of that, my ex-gf has a hilly driveway, and one day i parked behind her mom, and apparently my e-brake wasnt tight enough, and my car was just proped up on her mom's car's rear end, and it was raised in the air.. i almost shat myself
luckly no damaged happened to her car or mine.
anyways.. goodluck with that man..

they won't write your car off unless something major's damaged, or it's a HUGE, irreperable dent... like something that would cost big bucks to fix. But if it's just a little dent, or fairly small, it should only cost the body shop a couple hundred to fix...

Keaponlaffen, I don't know where you go but I can't imagine anyone cutting out and welding in a new rear quarter for a couple hundred bucks. Not to mention paint.
My gues is they sould cut you a check for about a grand, maybe a little less depending on the company. Good luck.
