FC Crank sensor in FB

Saw a race car recently with a FC Crank sensor and coils in a first gen car. How do we get this setup to work. The owner just bought the car and the previous owner was no help.

basically looks as though the CAS was wired to an MSD and a second gen or GM type coil on plug setup. Trying to figure out the trailing deal. It was wired in the same way.

Instead of re-inventing the wheel, does anyone know or heard of this. Im trying to lower the weight in my race car and this will get the weight lower in the chassis. Its not much but we can lower the hood and fenders this way too.

He's either running no spark advance, or has an aux computer of some sort to control the timing curve. The CAS is just a signal for the ecu for leading and trailing positions. Ecu controls the coils.
