FB Meeting
Hey guys, I know you're probably gonna think this is stupid but I'm gonna post about what happened tonight. I was loading a sofa onto a truck when I see a white FB parked next to mine. In my head I'm screaming "FB FB!!!!!" and then I see the wheels and realize it's a GSL-SE. Then I'm scremaing "GSL-SE GSL-SE!!!!!" in my head. I happened to see the couple then loading their merchandise and I ran over to talk to them. I said "That's a nice GSL-SE you got there" and they instantly knew that they were parked next to mine. The woman was actually the owner and she loves it to death. I reffered her to the RX-7 Club so hopefully she'll join up really soon. Just thought I'd share with you guys because it made my night

I usually get a very good response when meeting other 7 owners. I was on the main drag in town a couple of years ago and a TII the same color as my 2nd gen passed me going the other way. When i saw him flip a u-turn, I slowed down till he caught up, then he follwed me home. He is now a good friend sharing a common rotary interest.
I even get strangers showing up at my door asking for help and advice on thier 7s because both my 1st and 2nd gens are parked out front.

Man i saw an FB on the highway like two weeks ago all beat up and stuff but i sped up right to him and i gave him a thumbs up and he did the same to me. It was cool. It was just nice to see another FB on the road. You guys are right though, our cars are a rare breed to find!

yeah, you guy's think FB's are rare
I haven't seen an SA other than mine up in these parts. Maybe I'll see an FB a couple times a year, and FC's, a little more. Only seen one FD, usually parked on the street in mystic. It's cool having a rare car.

I was talking to an ex- fb owner last night - and we were talking about this same issue.
I haven't seen an fb on the road other than mine in at least two years (in the Pocono's) - its a shame.

The couple of FBs I've seen around Austin didn't give me wave or wink.
I did drive by one guy driving one exactly the same color and waved, I think we had the same drop jawed look on each other's faces. If I wasn't already going somewhere, I probably would've tried to catch up to him. Other than that, ususally every other rotary driver waves.

I seem to encounter a lot of rx8's when I'm in the 7, but they're all driven by middle aged women, who are either putting on lipstick or talking on their cellphone. no real car enthusiasts.
