FB fuel Cell

Hey everyone! i was wondering if any one is running an after market fuel cell in the spare tire area of there FB? my car does not have a gas tank so i need to find a nice alternative been looking at summit racing mostly what does everyone think??

That would work fine but you will need a firewall or cover the cell, I would not recommend for a street car

Safety. Theres many reasons the tank is under and outside of the car. Fumes are an issue as well as leaks and what happens in an accident. I imagine your car wouldn't pass inspection (if you have em still) with cell in the spare area. Plus you will have to run the lines into the car and so forth. Just get a replacement tank.

I ran a fuel safe fuel cell in my race car. I think it was a 10-12 gallon fuel cell. I cut the spare tire well out and made two brackets out of 1” square stock and then made a cover out of sheet metal. With a small access panel to fill it up. If you are using the car as a street car then post a WTB add for a fuel tank it would be a lot easier.

thanks everyone the car is going to be a "fast" street car i just think a fuel cell would be easier then trying to find a new gas tank
