Dont know if it was ever finished. I think the person who started it sold it off? It was looking pretty good though if I remember right.

EDIT: Im thinking of an FD body kit that was being put on an FB. Not a stock FD body mold put onto the FB. Is that what you are talking about?

yeah it was a fd body kit.......hmm yeah it looked pretty nice.

shame he didn't finish it .

so dose anyone have a link or something to the thread ?

i did it because my car was so rotten i was just going to junk the shell but i thought i would mess around with it .

i didnt want to buy a body kit so i just pulled molds off my dads car....it was way cheaper ans im just going to modify them to how i want them to look ...

the cool thing is im shaving alot of weight off the car this way ..........i have a set of weigh scales so im going to weigh the car after to see how much weight im cutting

i rember he got a offer from some place to make a mold of his car so he could have it fully out of carbon fiber, they where only going to give him a small discount on it and he would not get any thing from any of the kits they sold. if you do this id be down for buying some parts.

Yeah I have to second that on the molds I would love my 79 to be an SA/FD Hybrid Monster I love the look of the 3rd gen but not the reliability of it but I love the reliability of the 1st gen so the two worlds clashing is the most awesome thing I can think of 1st gen body converted to 3rd gen body with 12a bridgeport = big smiles!!!

Are you sure you don't mean Porsche 928's or 944's? I can't imagine the front of an RX7 as a 911...

Damnit NOOO!!!

I work far too much for you guys to be planting these cruel ideas of
awesomeness(?) in my head. You realize now that youve condemned me to countless hours and what money i dont have to creating an animal such as these?!

oooh but wouldnt a 911 FB be friggin awesome. too bad i cant afford the 911 parts. . . or can I??? Thats it im asking for a raise!!

Props to all of you masterconvertermen on the sick things that you've created. Keep up the excellent work and keep posting new pix as time goes on. This is turning out to be a sick and twisted type of ****.

haha a guy put a s15 front on his saturn and at first i thought it was a s14.5 or s13.5 but i looked at the back damnnn all that work for a crappy saturn...clean conversion though.
