Your post is too vauge, we need more details.
Are you keeping the stock FB steering?
Did you swap to a first gen front cover and oil pan?
When you say "steering bar" do you mean the rod that connects to the steering box, idler arm and the tie rods attach to, or do you mean something else?

Probably means to ask, "How do you clear the center steering link with the TII oilpan."
Its one of "those" questions......"explain a complete TII swap to me so I dont have to search".......main reason Ive been a ghost around here.

Understood guys...I am doing a complete TII swap, Subframe and engine. The Current issue i have is the "Center Steering" link from the steering wheel to the steering rack. The TII is too long and the FB dosen't work.
Please let me know if you guys need more info, I am new at this, but gotten pretty far.

Cut the bottom of the FB column tube to the same length as the FC.
Go to hardware store and buy a small bearing with the inner dia the same as the shaft OD and the outer bearing dia same as the ID of the column tube.
Tack the outer race in the column with 3 good tacks.
cut the shaft to the same length as the FC. Smooth and bevel the raw end.
Buy a steering universal with the FC intermediate shaft spline on one end and a round hole/set screw in the other.
slide on raw shaft and drill dimple in shaft through the set screw hole. (and a heavy tack if you are planning on tracking the car)
Assemble universal to FC intermediate shaft and voila.

^What he said. Mine is a bit different, I used the lower bearing from the FC column tube (along with a small piece of the tube itself). I didn't think I'd be able to easily find a bearing with the correct ID and OD, then again I didn't really look too hard either lol.
Steve: Glad to see you back on here! I thought he was asking about the FC oil pan clearance too, but wasn't sure...

Not sure if you saw my FC subframe swap thread but it has a few pics (not enough i admit) of what I did, might give you an idea how to do the steering column. T2 FB's are fun, you'll love it
