Swap in a S5 N/A motor, pineapple sleeves, custom intake manifold, standalone ECU and with the requisite fuel you could probably make ~210-220rwhp, which would make for a quick little FB if you stripped it out a bit.

^^ there has to be something wrong with your car.

with a stock port 12a with a weber 48IDF, RB light flywheel, RB full exhaust, no emissions and RB spark plug wires i hit a 15.3 in the 1/4. maybe it was really hot the night you ran?

this car also had an open diff, CRAPPY tires and needed to be tuned..bad

My basically stock GSL-SE can cover a 1/4 mile in 9 seconds flat @ 100 MPH, no lie! The exact same car can cover a 1/4 mile in 7.5 seconds @ 120 MPH.

*100 mph = 146.666667 FPS. 1/4 Mile = 1320 Feet. 1320 Feet/146.666667 FPS = 9 Seconds flat. 120 mph = 176 FPS. 1320 Feet/176 FPS = 7.5 Seconds. Didn't say anything about a standing start.

I'm hoping my car will do a mid to low 15 in the 1/4 mile. I've got an stockport 88 6 port, Jay-Tech intake mani with 600 CFM edelbrock sitting on top, no 6 port sleeves, unknown brand header with custom 2" true dual exhaust, and a lightweight RB flywheel. Stock ignition for now, untill I locate a 2nd gen coil to use my TT box. I figure it will put out about 160-170 hp, which is enough to get a 1st gen into the low 15's.

Fast, Street legal, NA, and FB do are words that do not belong together.
