These are really good rubbers! They are one of the best buy for solo race.

I'm also considering these, anyone have a comment on how they compare to the Sumitomo HTR 200's? I got a recommendation on these from a friend and they are a wee bit cheaper than the Falkens.

Falkens are waaayy better. I use the Sumitomos on my stock car cause I have to use a 70 series tire. The falkens are five times better.

I ran the Azenis last summer on the stock rims. The grip is amazing, and they have a really stiff sidewall for a 60 series tire too. As stated before though they wear fast if you drive agressively.

how many miles did you get on them?

i got about 4-5k with the way i drive on the htr 200's. they have also been through a few autox's and stupid driving... i dont plan to abuse this next set as much as ive calmed down with the stupid driving, but they will still see the occasional hard driving.

The guys over at the SCCA forums love them. They are quite popular amongst the autoXers. That should tell you something about their traction. They are a high performance tire, so they are going to wear quickly just as any other hp tire.
I didn't get them because they get greasy when hot. The overheating is only an issue if you do high speed track events though.

Ya know there is a suspension/tire/brakes section.

Yikes... you only got 5k out of your htr 200's? Even considering your autox and "stupid driving", maybe it would be better to pony up the extra cash for the azenis's.

actually, the htr 200's shipped were 216 to my house from tirerack.com, the azenis are 212 shipped from tires.com (free shipping).

i did alot of "cool" burnouts, and we have 2 sites for autox, and one of them is REALLY rough. after a single run, you can rub rubber off the tire. its horrible, ive decided im not running that course anymore.

I were you, onepointone, I'd go to the Azenis for dedicated AutoX use, and use the HTR 200 for street use. If you see any snow in your area and drive your seven in the winter, maybe go with the HTR 4 for your street tire.

Using street tires for AutoX sucks and really doesn't save you money in the end. Trust me, I found that out the hard way with my HTR 200's.

Every car in this class of racing here in Oz runs on Azenis, just as i do! so far i have done 10,000Km of everyday highway work, and they are worn about 10%

Well, I called Discount Tire today and ordered myself some Azenis's. Should have them installed on Wednesday or Thursday. From what it sounds like, I doubt I'll be disappointed.
