air fuel ratio messing up

85 gsl-se... my air fuel ratio seems to be acting strange, my gauge says i run a little lean sometimes, tonight it was practically off the gauge it was running so lean, i turned the car off and started it back up and it was running ideal again... might just be the gauge though, any other ideas anyone?

It's a sunpro, but it's been pretty acurate so far, gives me a few corky readings...but when my gauge went practically off the gauge lean i knew something was wrong, i got scared and shut it off.

Update to an almost year old post; The O2 wire melted to my header and was grounding itself out.
