Angry F My Dellorto!!!!

This thing is starting to **** me off!!

It is just one thing after another with this carb!

One I cant find no jets, or any parts!! but I can deal with that.

But now, I cant get this **** shut all the way, its always got some throttle open. I have cut links out of the spring to the point that my throttle feels like im pushing a block. I still cant get the idle below 1750. I have a spring pulling on the throttle and the OMP still no help!

I want to just rip it off and put back on my POS nikki.

I think I am going to sent it to mazdatrix and have them rebuild it and rejet it!

I cant wait until I go to Tahoe, so I can leave this POS behind me, and think about the Hot chicks and fresh powder!

Pick up a Weber book, there are several to choose from. Hit up the VW sites, they love the Webers, lots of support and parts available through a few of the aftermarket suppliers for the Dubs.

Make sure your accerator pump actuator lever is not binding as that can prevent the throttle from closing sometimes. Checkout www.gruntled.com for more insights as well.

It's possible that the linkages are tightened on the shaft too tightly causing the inability to close.
