Exhuast hangers, Rear Oil Seal, Coolent sensor

I have several questions about my 85 GSL:

1 Where can I get all the little rubber pieces that hang the Ehaust?
I'm missing some and the noise when I hit a bump sucks.

2 When I replaced the clutch, I wanted to replace the rear oil seal
on the engine, and Auto Zone and Mazda wanted me to buy a
seal kit for 80.00. Where can I get just the seal? It's too late
now as the tranny is back on the car, but just for future reference
I' like to know.

3 The coolent level sensor on the top of my radiator seem to
be stripped, it is leaking coolent from around it, It looks like
it is made of plastic. I could call Mazda, but is there any
auto parts store that carries these? and how much?

I know you can get #2 and #3 from Victoria British. I believe their site is victoriabritish.com. Have them send you a free Rx-7 catalog. They are my main parts supplier. Quality parts, and they aren't ridiculously expensive either. I believe a rear main oil seal is about $5-$10 from them.

As far as the rubber exhaust hangers, I got those from my local NAPA store for a few bucks. They shouldn't be hard to find at all. I would imagine you could get those darn near anywhere. Good luck!

the rubber 'donut' exhuast hangers are a dime-a-dozen at the junkyards and cheap if not free. same goes for the coolant sensor if you can live with those parts being used. 2ed gen coolant level sensors are the same as 1st gens.

AFAIK Mazda still sells the factory hangers for $10-12 a piece. Why dick with ill fitting parts when you can just drop these in??

I know all the exhaust hangers can be had at Autozone for about $2pc. I say all, as in two types. I did have to modify the hanger by drilling the holes in them wider so I could get the metal spacer thru them. The first time I did my exhaust, I was told they had to order the hangers. After I got that one installed, I noticed the hangers they stock in the store did not look that much different and were half the price. So the next system I put in, I used the hangers they stocked in the store.

On th coolant level sensor, I would and did opt for just buying a new one from Mazda. I do not know of any aftermarket ones. But since I saved you all that money on the hangers, you can afford a $20 sensor .
