Question Exhaust Manifold Gasket Question

I have recently purchased an '82 RX-7 for SCCA racing. I am 100% sure I have an exhaust leak and 95% sure the leak is at the manifold gasket. I ordered a new gasket from Mazda today. Can anyone provide any pointers on how to install the gasket once I receive it? Can I pry back the manifold and slip the gasket in or will I have to remove the manifold altogether? Are there any sealants, etc. that need to be applied to the gasket?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

no sealant required. Plug and play. But you do have to remove the manifold, because the gasket, IIRC, has holes in it for the studs where the manifold bolts go.

Hopefully you don't have a cracked stud, that would be the pits.
