Exhaust help!!!

Hello, I am trying to find a good exhaust for my 12a fb rx7. I want it to have the good brap sound, be quite loud but not illegal and be around or under 200$. I may be getting new headers soon so also take that into consideration. Thanks, joey

Not gonna happen for $200 unless you can weld and bend pipe. A muffler, silencer, and cat will cost more then $200.

your looking at atleast a good 700$-1000$+ for what you want. no such thing as a good exhaust for under 200$ unless you produce it yourself like kansas said and even then it can be expensive. in fact the header alone will be about 200$

The best you can do for $200 is straight pipe it!

And then you will have no hearing and be paying tickets for it.

Yeah, we had a car show at work and we brought the chumpcar. The Harley guys insisted on having a loudest exhaust contest so I brought my cordless impact and had a skinny intern slide under the car and unbolt the collector, I doubt they will want to have that contest again if we are there.

Thanks, I bought a straight pipe off a 85 gslse but it needs a new mount and won't just bolt on sadly. I already have the cat cleared so I meant muffler not whole exhaust. I might go with a Flowmaster but I feel that won't give me the sound i want.

If you are just looking for a muffler, I've actually been really impressed by large selection of sizes and styles offered by magnaflow. Just check out their website: MagnaFlow Exhaust Products - For Trucks, Suv's, American Muscle, Diesel, & Sport Compact Vehicles

i went too school with a guy who had a flowmaster on an FB, and you could hear it for miles, seriously, i think the flowmaster makes it louder.

I've known others who have used BORLAs and they seem to work pretty well. Don't sound too bad
either.

Just recently added this race pipe on our 13b with the maniflod and rear muffler stock, pretty happy with the added sound but definitely not earth rattling noise.
