the rb system is 2 and a 1/2 through..and you can notice a power different right away...you still will get power...only go 3in if you know you are going to turbo it..that's prolly the only reason..i would run just one..its fine..and then you dont have to hassle trying to get your way around the gas tank..

Basically with it being N/A, especially a bridgeport, it's going to be loud as ****. Since mine wont be a daily driver, I'm am going to run the RB header, megaphoned to 3in pipe( mine will be turbo in the future) to a Borla XR-1 straight back to a Rotaflo. In N/A form it will be pretty damn loud, but with the turbo on I think it will be more subdued. I would only run 1/8" thick mild steel for the piping for 2 reasons. #1: It will help with noise suppression and #2: it will take the metallic raspiness out of the exhaust note. I think if you used either a combination of RB presilencer and other muffler or 2 of the same you'll be okay using a can on the end

Only universal mufflers from RB, not the power pulse mufflers which are tail mufflers

Okay, it's not a tailpipe, that's still a muffler even though it doesn't actually reduce any noise. I think you should be doing alot more research into what you'll need. That cheap can isn't going to last very long behind the heat of a rotary.

I agree they do look more aggressive, but you're going to be shelling out some money for one that is going to last. Look into Apexi N1 mufflers and do a search on Rotaflo. I'm personally going with a Rotaflo

If you are more worried about looks than performance, what are you doing with a first gen?

They are so good because they handle the heat from a rotary so much better. You buy cheap stuff for a rotary, and its toast within months (and that is if you are lucky and not beating it to hell).

These aren't cheap cars, they are cheaper cars than expensive cars. If you have a bridgeported rotary, go for performance value over all else. It would be stupid to be running around with a bridgeported motor and an exhaust that is completely robbing you of horsepower.

If your car isn't bridgeported and you are just planning to bridgeport it, I'd suggest you look long and hard at other options first. Bridgeports aren't friendly for daily driving at all.

Good lord, child. Please just go get a civic. You buy the racingbeat system, and i will give you my 2.5" custom system with a magnaflow and borla muffler. It has a 3" tip! I'm sure i could get a 4" put on there no problem, maybe bigger.

I'm going to go along with you here.

Assuming you meant "shame", the shame is exhaust isn't going to make your car look good or bad.

And as far as the fur thing, I don't know why we are even talking about dead animals in the first place.

And I notice you posted another thread about bodykits. Its typical. So many 16 year olds come in here asking about bodykits, talking about their huge plans for their car, and never do anything with them. If you truly have a bridgeported engine, then what exhaust is on the car now? And if the exhaust has been upgraded, why bother changing it? If the exhaust is stock, then I call BS on the whole bridgeport to begin with.

Also, what carb are you using for your bridgeport?

I am not calling B.S. on you yet, I'm just dumbfounded that someone would run an insane port job on what I'm assuming to be a daily driver, talking about cheap *** bodykits that will never look good, and talking about exhausts that will look better than actually perform well.

If you want high performance cars, you do high performance things. If you want a car that looks good, you spend big bucks to get it there. Nothing in the game of cars is cheap, and when you do cheap things to cars it becomes rice.

Function over form. Function over form. Function over form.

I'm not trying to be an ******* here, I'm just trying to help you out. What is the point of having a bridgeport if you're just going to zap power out of it by putting on cheap exhaust?

Uhum.... I've been giving you advice in each of my comments. Perhaps it is more of the fact that you'd rather not hear our advice, but you'd rather hear that you're making good choices. Good advice is going to be the proper way of doing things, and often times (especially in cars) it doesn't looks good, and those that do look good as well as perform up to par have unmentionable amounts of money dropped into them.

And out of curiosity, why would your dad allow a 16 year old to own a bridgeported rotary as, what I am assuming to be, a first car? Seems kind of overboard to me. I think that if I were a father to a 16 year old, I'd have started off with either a stock or lightly modded car, not a full blown race engine.
