exaust manifold

i think my exaust manifold is leaking because when im driving i could smell some exaust, my passenger seems to smell it more, but this has been like this for a while so maybe i am use to the smell, is it easy to change the gasket for my exaust manifold?or is it a pain in the *** to do so. i got a 83...

Have you checked all the exhaust pipes for holes? Its seems like it would be common for the pipes to leak, not the manifold.

Look for holes in the rear of the body, especially around the rear tail lights. When I was racing once, I got hit on the right rear breaking out my right tail light and knocking off my rear bumper. That allowed the tail pipe exhaust to pour into the car, it was terrible.

Also if you had a exhaust manifold leaking you will hear it, cause it will be louder than normal.
