i need some help with my 12a sa22c 1980 rx-7 anneversy x edition, i just finished rebuilding the engine and put everything back to gther but now when i try to sart it the carb just floods the engine with gas and wont stop, its currently at our local foreigh auto shop i went to check how they where doing cus i couldnt figure it out and the owner said your that guy!!! did you rebuild it? i told him yes, and he told me that he dreamt he beat me up twice last night, he is a very good macanic him and his whole crew dont know what it could be, i personally think i might just need a new carb, but the thing is that it ran fine right before i rebuiilt it soo... and than he called the other day and had me bring down my manuel lol hahaha it was funny if anyone could help me i would be very grateful and you would be my hero!!!!

 

Float is stuck,
Float is set wrong,
needle is stuck,
Fuel pressure is wrong.

thats what i thoght at first but the thing is that floats arnt stuck or at least the shop says so my dad wouldnt let me tear into the carb even tho the car is myne wich i am kinda glad cus i its a bloody blood bath !! i will go look for some how to's with the floats, my uncle sugested taping it lightly with a hammer and seeing if that would make them come up but he is not sure if they are stuck but the shop says they arnt wich doesnt make sense.... props to you man thanks
