engine wobble

engine wobble

hey guys my motors been giving me a problem every time i drive or rev it when the rpms go down it goes down to about 1200 or 1100 and the engine does a wobble for about three to 4 seconds then it goes back down to 850 or so and its fine

And you have a GSL-SE with all the emissions removed? Or you have a 12A with a turbo setup? In other words, we can't help if you don't provide any information about the car.

how bad a wobble. On a scale from 1-10 what would you say.

Is this only in gear, all the time, only in neutral.

Does it ALWAYS do it or just sometimes.

sorry guys its a gs stock it I a slight wobble probaly like a 4 it happens every time in nuetral not and in gear I think it might ne a carb problem

sounds like the shudder valve.oops i mean shutter valve....you know what i mean. take your air cleaner lid off and give it a rev. you chould hear a very loud sucking sound on rev drop. then a small thunk sound. then the engine should return to normal idle.
