Engine/Tranny help

I just recently tried to drop in my new rebuilt engine with my stock tranny. (91' 13b n/a with 12a front cover & 79' stock tranny) When I placed it in, the engine mound was sort of tight, while the tranny mound would not line up. I would think the tranny would since it originally came from the car. I'm going to be trying again soon yet I wanted to know if I'm doing something wrong or if I need to customize anything. Thanks in advance

are you using a gsl-se cross member? the 13b is longer than the 12a.

Then should I buy the RacingBeat engine mound that they sell? I looked over it since it looked exactly like my current mound.

you can bend the mount you have and make it work.
