NDkid23, to do a 5-speed swap takes a bit of work. I'm in the process of doing one on my S4. Might want to read up here about it http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/2n...to_5speed.html or https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...tomatic+tranny
Now instead of making a adapter for the 5-speed im welding in the 5-speed mount as i have a chassis to cut them out of.

twin turbo??? what motor are you thinking??? A 13BREW would be considerably more work to put in than the average mechanic would want to do?

Or do you mean a 13BT?

We speak American English here, not gutter speak slang.

and if I understand you correctly the cost of changing out the tranny and engine will depend on what you put in and how much work you do yourself.

Expect that if someone does the work for you, you can spend $5,000-$20,000 (depending on the engine).

Turbo swap (using FC single turbo engine): http://rotaryresurrection.com/2ndgen...to_turbo2.html
13b-RE swap (simplest twin-turbo swap): http://fc3spro.com/TECH/SWAP/COSMO/13b-re.html
If you want a turbo, either swap in a turbo drivetrain as in the first link, or get a new car that's already a turbo. If you do it yourself, you can get the stuff for a turbo swap for a few thousand with a used engine.
Also, read the FAQ sticky at the top of the main 2nd gen page.

tranny isnt too bad. im doing the swap now. its costly depending on how you go for parts. like whether you get a used clutch or a new $500 performance one. so far ive only really had a hard time making tranny brackets because the auto tranny sits farther back than the manual.

240s are ok. i was going to get one to drift before i got my RX-7 but around here 240s and AE86s are costly and rx-7s are cheap and easy to come by.

the engine swap like icemark said is costly. a single turbo swap from a 2nd gen is more recommended and much easier to do if you really want to go turbo.
