I have a running 86 RX7 SE that I busted up, bodywise, drifting, and now have a body of an 89 RX7 GTU with a blown S5 13b and no interior, what problems shoul;d I expect to run into before the swap is officially started?

Its possible, but you would want to run the S5 upper and lower intakes + ECU. You may run into emission problems though. That motor is NOT a direct swap, and some are going to want to know WHY you would even put a lower HP motor in your car anyways..

Im asking if the engines will in fact, offer a direct swap, because the 89 engine isnt in the best of shape, and Im not sure about using parts of it for my well maintained 86 13b...
