Engine Temp Guage/Sensor????
My temp guage does not work whatsoever. I would check the guage, but then again I don't know if the sensor works, or even where it's at. If anyone could tell me where the sensor is at so I can replace it, it would help me out alot. I searched under "temp gauge' and 'temp gauge sensor', and the threads I looked at didn't answer my questions. Thanks!

be careful if you have to replace it. i snapped mine off flush without hardly applying any pressure. now i have to figure out what to do....im thinking of getting an adaptor with threads to accept a new sensor, and splice into a heater hose or something. i just hope that the original sensor doesn't leak. haven't figured that out yet

use 3/8 tap. Someone stated before that you can tap the front side plate (driver side). Yes on electrical gauges but there's not much room if you will use a mechanical gauge. The only way to do it is to use a 1" nipple (not your gf or wifes). I just did it in one my customer's car but it was fugly!!! I ended up installing it behidn the water pump housing.

Burning Oil-Grinding 3rd
Check the guage by taking the wire off the sender and grounding it, the guage should go to full temp. If it does then the sender is bad or the connection is bad, If it does not then the wire is bad or the guage is bad.
The temp sender is the small one in the rear iron the oil pressure is the one with a large head.
