Actually, I think that your handy manual should tell you...The one loks like an oil seal though...I have no idea though, lol

I always say that if you have extra parts, and the thing your working on still works, then it was over-engineered.

Good one!

Kinda like the German engineering phylosophy...... "Why build something with one part when two will work just as well"

From left to right
1-Rear stationary gear o-ring
2-Water pump housing shims (Shame on you TJ )
3-Next row upper look like oil fitting seal (front cover or rear housing) Lower small one I dunno, cant tell ( I got no memory)
4-Main pulley bolt seal

My mantra; Murphy's Law of inanimate reproductivity

If you take something apart & put it back together enough times, eventually you will have two of them

So are you just building a motor in the passenger seat of your car? An engine stand might be a little easier...

Fuel, air, compression, ignition, exhaust all at the right time. Thats all it needs to run. One is messed up. You need to look carefully at each individual thing and what could be stopping one of them.

Dont you mean Chrysler? They like to use 10 parts where one would be fine

You mean MOPAR?!

M = mostly
O = outdated
P = parts
A = arranged
R = randomly

example: the late model 2.7L DOHC Chrysler has the water pump located behind the timing cover... so guess where the coolant goes when the water pump springs a leak? Engineering brilliance!

Timing cover has to come off to change the water pump on the 3.0L V6 of my Mazda 929, as well. I don't see why coolant on the timing belt would be a problem, though. That sucker's never slipping.

Are you really a ASE master tec?

You shoudl know 99.9% of the imports out now have the water pump behind the timing belt cover...
