What are you saying? You guys really need to learn how to communicate properly or we are going to start sending you a bill for diagnosis, lol.

Are you saying that you turn the key on and there are no warning lights that are supposed to come on? Or are you stating that the radio will not come on or what?

There are fusable links in the engine bay near the battery that need to be checked.

Sounds like you got too many mods on that thing, you should start by taking them all all out, kind of like ripping out the rats nest on a virgin stock 1st gen. Then get the shop manual and go through the diagnostics, you'll have it running in no time.

Sounds like it's open and not shorted now...

What's not working?

Does the engine run?

turn the key and nothing. no fuel pump, no lights, its as if theres no battery hooked up at all.

as for ripping out mods, i went back to stock to break in the rebuild.

ill check those fusable links first

im just trying to find this problem quick so i can start driving it before snow. idk if i can go over a year without driving my 7

thanks guys

Yep he's right! That is more than likely the problem.

If you have headlights and nothing else than it's the ignition switch.

(Assuming you've checked the three fusible links at the left shock tower near the battery.)

If you have no power anywhere, than it's the battery or it's connections.

i hadnt checked the headlights. flipped the switch on the radio bezel. they came up slowly, then wouldnt come down. not sure what that means as far as ignition or fusible links

Could mean that you have a completely discharged battery and there was just enough juice to open them then that's it.
And you still could have a blown fusable link on top of that.

Either hook up a jumper to the battery or remove it and put in another known good battery if you have one. Also make sure you clean the posts and the cables too in case of corrosion build up between the posts and the cables.

it means your battery is dead or you have a really bad connection at it.

OK Heres a thought!
If you can get the lights to go up but slowly I'm thinking you don't have enough juice in the Battery to Start the Car ie Ignition Drain.
Check your Battery for 12 to 13 volts (with no load).
If thats OK then I go with the above suggestions on the Main Fusuble Link.

Radio lights coming on slowly = dead battery

Replace battery, then find short (or whatever was left on) that killed your battery in the first place.
