I got the engine in today!! Tranny too, that was a pain in the ***. Fiero fan test fitted. It's close to the water pump pulley but it clears so once I mount it up it should be good. And I started the welding the exhaust.

Looking good. I like the downpipe and heat shield as well. Did you have to bend the downpipe? I bought a stainless FC downpipe for mine but I figure I'll have to have it bent. My turbo sits back farther than yours because my turbo manifold is straight. Anyway, nice work! Keep the updates coming

Of all the turbo setups on the forum I think I like how yours is turning out the best.
The way you're running your intercooler is awesome, with only one side of the engine having intercooler and radiator lines you free up the other half of the engine bay for anything else. I know the stock radiator lines are on that side anyways, but it just makes sense to have all 4 hoses over there instead of a wrap around system like most guys do. The second pic of post #9 really does it for me, I love the way that looks. Nice fitment with the radiator directly behind the intercooler but still in the stock location makes a lot of sense.
Long story short, excellent work. Someday I may have to use part of your build as inspiration - my hat is off to you sir

i made the brackets for the FPR and the throttle cable and installed the HKS wastegate. Had to rebuild it thats why it wasnt put on earlier. The throttle cable bracket isnt finished. I need to add a leg going down so I can mount a throttle return spring.
