engine building question

i'm putting together an NA 13b for my S2. i've got 2 donor motors and i'm wondering if they'd work together. i've got an S5 NA and an S4 T2 block. i was hoping to use the S5 na rotating assembly and intermediate plate and then the S4 T2 front and rear irons. will this work out? what sort of intake would i run on this? thanks.

S4 TII is the only intake that will match, afaik. The NA intake can match with some porting but the aux ports won't be there. An S5 intake may bolt up but it won't have the MOP rod.

If you plan on running this engine carbed, pick up a pair of S4 NA end plates and LIM. RB has a 2 barrel UIM that bolts right up. With the NA end plates and working aux ports, you will have better low end. But in the end it's a carbed SE engine.

The main difference between NA and TII housings is the exhaust sleeve, which can be changed.

i know the housings are different and the exhaust sleeves are easily interchangeable. i wanted to stay away from the 6port motors. i'm pretty sure there's a company that makes LIM for turbo motors that you can bolt an IDA weber to or even something like a Tweak-it ITB. just have to find them again.
