FL 12a tranny compatability

Hello guys, i am building an engine for around 350-400hp. now i know that the stock 12a tranny wont handle such power. Is there a tranny that can withstand that? o by the way it will be circuit racing, not drag, so i dont need a t5 either. is there another one that i can use, like a tII or something?

Yup, TII tranny with a lightweight flywheel, the correct counterweight for the rotors, a very good clutch and new 3" driveshaft. I have one picture in my profile, it's the dimensions for the driveshaft. Keep in mind it's for a TII engine, but that should make little difference.

so, does the tII tranny bolt right up to the 12a or is there any adaptors or something that need to be put on? the clutch, flywheel and all, yeah they are all what you say, Now the dimensions for the driveshaft are for the tranny on a TII engine or an a 12a? is custom right?

Tranny bolts right up. The clutch, flywheel and starter need changed. TII's have their own starter due to the larger diameter flywheel. Drive shaft is custom, I had one made for 205 that I shipped to Japan for a friend. Those are his dimensions. When you get your tranny installed, measure and compare the dimensions.
