It was exactly the opposite with me. I was a RX-7 owner. [1st gen SE, custom turbo] to a DB2 or for the Honda challanged.. a 92 Integra GS-R # 508 of 1500. What motor do you have in that EG? She looks clean. What are your plans for the rex.. ? I'm planning on getting a T2.. 90-91 white. But I'm enjoying my Integra so much right now I've placed that notion on hold for now.
Here is a pic of my DB2. 194hp to the wheel @ 9100 RPMs - rev limit is @ 9500RPMs untuned. Not bad for a B series motor. Hey..good luck with both of your cars and don't sweat these close minded people.. they sometimes make me ashamed of being a rotor head.
HEY!
Clean Teg!

Im running a D16Z6 with an intercooled GReddy turbo, apexi N1 exhaust, act clutch, energy suspension motor mounts and suspension bushings, had eibach but switched to coilovers, HKS turbo timer, King Dragon italian bucket seats with tubular structure, autometer gauges (air/fuel, oil press and oil temp). Stock internals, but I already got eagle rods, just need the rest to boost the hell out of it.

The 7 will remain stock... there is no way to find parts down here in Argentina, otherwise I would go Turbo II. Anyways, a guy here a few years ago had a 12A with a modified 13B intake mani, running injection. He might sell me the setup.
Another guy got a RB header, I will try to get a copy. Thats about it for the 7

-xlr8planet-.. Thanks..I try to keep her as OEM a possible being that she is such a rare model. I'm hoping to hit the golden 200 wheel HP.. in a B series engine. And being that you are in the honda scene.. you know thats quite a feat to achieve reliably. My mod list is extensive but the B17a is fully built. Compression is around 12.6:1.
Head:
Original B17A1.
Ported and Polished, exhaust and intake [flow tested 8% better than a type r's].
Ferrea valves, valve guides and other trimmings.
Skunk2 valve springs [sk2's recommendation for the sk2 s2 cams].
Skunk2 retainers.
Skunk2 cam gears.
Skunk2 s2 cams.
ARP head bolts.
AEBS Intake manifold [ported, port matched and flow tested, 100% x 4 runners]note: manifold had flow issues with one of the runner and was corrected to obtain the 100% flow.
Original TB bored 84mm.
Vortec Fuel rail , FPR and FPG.
290cc Injectors.
MSD 8mm wires.
MSD 6AL
DC Sport DAC short stack.
DC Sport 4-2-1 SS header wraped.
DC Sport SS Cat back.
CAT removed and replaced with presilencer.
Block:
Original B17A1.
Bored to 82mm.
Wiseco 11.4:1 + rings.
Shotpeened original b17 rods.
ARP rod bolts.
New water pump. OEM.
New oil pump. OEM. Type R
7lbs flywheel.
ACT Street/Strip clutch/pressure plate.
Entire assembly balanced by RACECRAFT ENGINEERING to 15,000 rpms.
Original YS1 gearbox. [3rd gear grinds above 5000 rpms].
Hondata S100 [untuned]
The motor was assembled by JDM Speed Junkies, located in Margate, Florida.
tidbit: the motor is the original motor. All #'s matching.
The head, block and the gear box are the originals.

xlr8planet- Yea.. thats the max.. and a little bit over. The AEBS manifold is 85mm inlet so I tried to match it as close as possible. I'm not sure of the exact size.. but this was the that specs was told to me by the shop that sent it out to get bored.
Why the pic of my SE does not show? I posted it 2 times now... Strange!
