If you say so, I take your word on it. What about the IS300? PFS does a lot of modifications and work on those, and supposedly they can be a good performing vehicle, but I don't much care for Japanese cars other than the RX-7.

BAH! Well if you happen to find a good place to get some let me know too please. Missing 1 is worse than missing all of them.

I dont know, but I saw a set of them on ebay with blank center caps. I would be fine with either ones really. I have no idea where to get them and I am sure if they were available from mazda they would be really expensive.

7 and civic

7/Civic love huh?

Where's the Pic of the 7 with the front end parked up on the tail end of the civic taking it from behind?

Hope the offspring look and perform like Dad... ;-)

maybe they can be economy minded with inexpensive and plentiful parts like mom :P

i think that's what their children will look like.

I hate people who hate cars only because of the morons that drive them. There are plenty of bad *** honda civics out there. The civic got a bad name because of a lot of idiots that wrecklessly drive them and think they are the **** and can't be beat. But then again, there are a lot dumbass rx7 drivers too.

FWD "sport compact"... what's there to like?

I hate the look of civics, with the exception of the 1st Generation CRX, which my friend Jim has.

I like the idea of a rotary swap into a CRX... that would rock.

REAL cars are RWD

DUDE! tell someone to move their honda away from your RX7! Totally lowers its value!

On the other hand you rex will never get stolen now, because they'll take the honda first!

i still don't like civics. i don't like the fact that people think a fwd econo-car is a sports car. for what it is, a economy family car, i believe it is a good car.

My BMW is an economy family car but neither I nor the manufacturer consider it a sports car. It has similar performance qualities but an entirely different vehicle. A Toyota Lexis IS300 is not a sports car either, and no one could confuse a Honda economy sedan such as a civic with a sports car. They are not even a sport sedan, and much further still removed from being a sports car. Perhaps you mean the Honda NSX, which is a sports car.

Thumbs up Honda Owner became 7 Owner. Love both.

"Honda Owner became 7 Owner. Love both."
Br0.. nice EG.. and REX has potential.
It was exactly the opposite with me. I was a RX-7 owner. [1st gen SE, custom turbo] to a DB2 or for the Honda challanged.. a 92 Integra GS-R # 508 of 1500. What motor do you have in that EG? She looks clean. What are your plans for the rex.. ? I'm planning on getting a T2.. 90-91 white. But I'm enjoying my Integra so much right now I've placed that notion on hold for now.
Here is a pic of my DB2. 194hp to the wheel @ 9100 RPMs - rev limit is @ 9500RPMs untuned. Not bad for a B series motor. Hey..good luck with both of your cars and don't sweat these close minded people.. they sometimes make me ashamed of being a rotor head.

And here is a pic of my GSL-SE before she was sold.

Oh.. I forgot to mention and by all means.. I'm not starting a war here but, this "sports car" thing that some of you claims that honda's are not, I beg to differ. The Integra [RS-X included] = a sport compact. The Civic SI's = a sport compact. The CRX = a Sport compact and list goes on. Granted the RX-7 was built from the ground up as a "sports car" but to say that these Hondas are not "sports cars" is incorrect. Anyways.. I would love to run a 1st gen or a 2nd gen n/a RX-7 to see how the fairs against my non sports car. Anyone in Coral Springs or FT Lauderdale area with a 1st or 2nd gen N/A care to perform an experiment?

The NSX is a sports car, the other Hondas you listed are not. They are economy cars or sports compacts or the like. The definition of a sports car can be slippery, but a honda civic definitely won't cut it, just as a Volkswagen bug with a Porsche engine is not a sports car. Technically, even a BMW M3 is a high performance sports sedan or coupe, not a sports car.

Putting a 400hp engine and improved suspension into a Yugo will not make it into a sports car. It is might go faster and handle better but it is still a piece of ****. If the owners of such Yugos or Hondas want to call them "sports cars," or even "space shuttles" they are free to do so. The rest of the world will know better and simply laugh, not start a war.

The RX-S is not a sports car? The CRX is not a sport car?
So your argument is.. that Hondas are not "Sports cars" Not that they can't preform as well as one right?
If thats your only argument.. then I can live with that. It's really not important if Hondas are not "sports cars". My point is.. that they preform just as well if not , in some cases, better then some "sports cars". I once felt the same way. I use to put down hondas all the time. I've since matured and opened my mind to other aspects of the "sport compact" scene. It's ok to have your opinions.. but it's also ok for me to disagree with them as well.
