Hi, as you can see Iam new to this forum, but I was wondering if anyone could help.

I know emmisions regulations are different for you folk, but Iam trying to find out how to connect these dots. There seems to be a fair bit of diagreement on this matter here.

How do all these connect PCV Valve, Fuel Vapour line, Charcoal Canister, Carby, Air Filter. How does it all come together, most cars I see (including mine) have been molested.

Well the system varies from year to year. Under the hood is a diagram detailing how it all hooks up. This diagram is also in the shop manual.

Thanks Carl, Yep, Sorry I know it varies, No diagram under my hood.

The Car is a series 2 and I have removed all pollution gear, now I currently have only fuel vapour line to charcoal canister, and crankcase venting into the air filter.

Series 2, thats 81-82 right? Look in the FAQ page for links to the online shop manuals. In the one for your year you can find the diagram.
