Electrical Alternator Question
Haven't started my car in more than a week...found out battery is dead and jumped it to start. Drove around for about 15 minutes and the next day i went to start the car the battery died again. Jumped it again and it started no problem then i noticed wen i turn on headlights or blinker my stereo turns off then back out again...seems like the car is losing electrical power, could this be the alternator? Or just the faulty battery? The alternator warning light doesn't stay on though, wouldn't this have stayed on if it was an alternator problem?

if the battery is dead you need to run the car for more than 15 mins to charge it up or it wont start again, take it for a good long run.
easiest way to test the alternator is get a multimeter and measure the voltage across the battery terminals when the car is running. it should be a bit over 14V.
