i just changed my alternator, and when my car is on it shows that its at 13 volts or so, somehow my battery is not getting charged in the process though... the battery is still pretty new...if i turned of the car it would not turn on again cuz of dead battery.. anyone know what the problem may be? could there be a ground someplace because when i jumper cabled my car to start i turned on the head lights and the car just died no electric..???????

 

yeah, check all the cables.
