Q: rotarys are not 2 cylinder, they have 2 rotors. the little triangle thingys. why dont you, quote, read you mags or check with local shops, since there are so many rotary shops ill just ask all my local ones that total zero!! well if you were spinnig it at 10K on a stock motor 1st of all, thats why you blew it, and 2nd how did you know it was spinning that fast? the tach only goes to 8K

A: #1 motor has not blown. Moter was J-specked. (says it on the motor. greedy boost cencer was set for boost at 9000. went to 10,000. I cant comment on what else you wrote. thanks robin

That is a quote from ebay... man... That is a scary deal... No telling what your getting... I will buy someone a beer if that engine is not blown. There are no belts or hoses. That engine was on its way out for some reason... the damage was on the rear of the car...why were they pulling the rad and front appart.... sounds FISHY to me!

Ok I am really not the one to bash people, but he has no idea what he was driving. First off He stated that the stock rims are custom rims. Also he said he spun a 360 road racing aka Street racing. He doesnt know how to drive. The cars body is in good shape, thats about it. I dont even wanna know what is up with that engine.

 

lol 'flux capacitor'...it runs on garbage..eco friendly..just replace the intercooler with a rice cooker..good to go

 

You guys are harsh, the guy is selling it for his kid he says so, he obviously just doesn't know what the car is.

He does know the kid added a hood, spun the car and lacking in intestinal fortitude, but that's not his fault just because the spawn of his seed has no nuts.

Q: 2 cylinder? you mean rotary. 10,000 RPMs? definately not on the stock computer or without a balenced rotating assembly. the hood is a stock turbo II hood. the wheels are not custon, they are stock GXL wheels. this car may be real because you have 100% feedback, but you dont know anything about this car.

A: yes, rotarys are only 2 cylinder...definately yes to 10,000 rpm check your mags or local shops. we had a meet at PRI this last weekend 1/14 -1/15 and they were talking and explaining about this engin on Under the hood- a AM radio show here. Says that they pop about 11,500 to 12,000 with nitrous pack. Ford and Chevy 6,000 to 8,000 that the rebuild for the rotary is aprox. $1,200 to 1,800 rebuild for this engine style ford-chevy was 3,500 to 4,500."


Wow... just wow.... I would not touch this car with a 60 foot pole. It does have a "Greedy" blow off valve, wonder what that one sounds like. What are "J specks" is it like magical fairy dust you can sprinkle on the engine?

The car didn't make boost till 9k rpm? That there is some god awful turbo lag.

I seriously doubt this ad is entirely authored by the "dad". Though it may have started that way.

If what's written is the best the "dad" can do, well, I'm truly ashamed for our society.

When I graduated HS a lot of my classmates went into the service. I have a high respect for those who serve and protect us... but this kid has me a touch worried. I hope Uncle Sam can straighten him out.

THis is just a text book example of poeple selling items that they dont know. I did not even see what the price was but all I know is that someone will deff buy that shell because it id oin good shape. YA the drivetrain is questionable. But my buddy bought a t2 from a original owner that was thought to have a blown motor. Bought it for a whopping 500 and came to find out that the spark plugs were the original and were so fouled out that one rotor was running.

So you just never know, I mean you take a chance at ant car and more so 7 when buying used and when the owner knows **** about cars!

firstly he aint all wrong, my rego papers here call my car a 2 cyl rx7 12a so i gues a 20b is a 3 cyl. but what a dick, why bother having boost set so high, braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaappp psh, to 10 000rpm? mine will go that high too but it cost me 4000 to do it without my engine eating itself! this guy is full of ****, i would bet it;s his car and he cant drive, oh my mate bought a seven- so will i!
love the custom seats, rims and hood- thats a standard series 4/5 in aus, and for that engine to rev to 10,000 i would put money on it being toast, did the nos activate when the clutch went to the floor too? i will mail him and say $3000 au if he drives it here!

maybe he put the nx kit in the nose of the car...maybe thats what he meant...I'd pick up the car for that price...you could easily fix that...and I don't know where he got his t2 hood that cost $800...but I have a t2 hood and it didn't cost near that much shipped to my door!!
