Driving light covers,,,yes,,no,,??

Screwing around, and i made some covers that go over the light buckets on the front end. Thats window tint on them with the reflective side facing forward. when the lights are off they disappear behind the covers. heres a couple of pictures. what'dya think ?

that's pretty cool.... what'd be even cooler is if your car was silver, and the tint blended in with the paint

You could do that by making the dam out of thin Lexan (like on some R/C bodies) and paint everything but the light openings, then tint over the blanks left so the lights are behind a seamless lens...

okay, costly but it's be nice

Or i was thinking, to use the real lite tinting film instead of that shinny crap.. i think another pair of covers and then see how it looks ,I'm planning on painting the car
pretty soon, it's gonna be artic silver. i love that colour.

Reminds me of the " last of the V8's interceptors"

apparently they are making a Mad Max 4 " fury road "

I bet it isn't anywhere near as good as ' Mad Max' though .... when will somone make another decent car chase film with a predicable car chase plot (who needs a complicated story we all just watch for the cars anyway) and lots of cool Auz and US muscle cars !!

Personally I like the front air dam without the covers.
But you have done a good job on the one's you've made.

Whats wierd is driving 60-80 mph the car feels better,
i know that those light buckets without the covers 'grabed' a lot of air, or scooped air. but now it does feel much smoother. i guess aerodynamic is the word to use.
