being new to these cars i cant undersatand why the alternator light is on when engine is running but not when it stops . i've done usual tests to make sure alt is sending right info out of the back to warning light wire but it is not behaving logically ie the warning light should come on when the wire is earthed ,it doesnt . what am i missing here does anyone have a wiring diagram of charging circuit , that i can look at , would really appreciate it. by the way alt is pushing out 14.5 volts according to my multi meter
