Driving/Fog lights where to mount them

does anybody have a pic or a suggestion of where to mount driving/fog lights on a FB? I was thinking on the side of the radiator opening is about the only spot, thanks for the input

You could always mount them like this:

I've thought about mounting mine this way, doesn't look as obtrusive but I'm not sure how much light you'd get

Damn, those are big. Either you have a lot of fog/dark streets, or you eyes are getting old like mine.

First pic would be my choice for mounting.

I've been thinking about getting some fog lights lately because my headlights hardly illuminate the road ahead unless I have the high beams on. I guess I could convert to better headlights....but I have to do more searching/reading up on those.
I do like the way you did yours EonBlue

I used cheap H4 knock offs from Ebay and this thread to get awesome lights, I don't need spots and I drive at night in the country a LOT

NB I can get away with my 90/100 bulbs here....

Well right now I have silvania silverstarts or whatever they are called anmd they are plenty bright but I wanna get some that I can use without having my headlamps on so I can turn off my headlights and the license plate light will turn off also but I will still have lighting, plus I wanna get some yellow light like on the older integras and IS300's, I think those look pretty sweet

eonblu, those are just about the exact spot I wanted to mount mine, what size are those on there? -did you mount them to the underside of the bumper or on to the cross peices in the air dam?

The car EonBlu posted is mine. They are mounted to the underside of the bumper, and the lights are made by Blazer from Canadain tire. not cheap at 100$ a set, but they have mercury glass and a poor weather bulb, in otherwords, they have a purply/blue lens and a yellow light.

Yeah, they are 150 watt. The rally look was intentional too. I'd like to mount a couple more on the top side if I could find a way to make it look nice. We have a lot of deer in Michigan, and I do a lot of night driving too...

Mold them into the header panel. There's pics of old rally cars floating around that have done that. Looks kinda cool too.

Yeah, I was wondering where I could buy those light housings. I know exactly what car you are thinking of. That would be some awesome lighting with four or five of those spots on my car....

I was reading up about that rally FB in the pics and the dude that raced it swaped a 626 front axle to make it all wheel drive to complete against the audi quattro. Very cool stuff I wonder where those all wheel drive 7's are today...

Fog lights are NOT auxillary driving lights! Fog lights have a totally different beam pattern and are meant to be used only in heavy snow or fog, with the headlights turned off.
