that is talent since it takes 100 turns to get from lock to lock and he's doing it 1 handed.

being able to steer fast enough to hold and control with a fb slow *** box like that i call talent. its far easier in a more powerful car with quick steering.

so ur saying that the AE86's and the 240's over there were MORE POWERFUL than the FB?

Its like this - its no talent. your drifing a line or turn and ur in the middle of the drift and HOLDING it ur just HOLDING the steering wheel. you can pop ur hand out for 2-3 secs
and wave to the crowd. Dude everyone was doing it. You say it as if they took 1/2 or even 1/4 of the course with one hand. They took the 2nd to last turn where ORDIO was standing to get extra points ant to wave to the crowd to give props.

dont get me wrong either its hard to drift PROPERLY and have the ***** to take ur hand off the wheel for a sec, and im not saying im a pro or anything but they didnt start a drift with one hand and come out of it with one hand.

I want to see them drift with no hands. And, no steering wheel.

i thought he was actually doing it one handed into and out of. and yes, technically a 240 and hachi roku are more powerful. not by much but they are. i just threw that in there because most guys i've seen have 240's with sr20det swaps, etc. and i can tell you from personal experience that it sucks trying to do it in a 1st gen compared to a 2nd gen (minus the dtss bs).

Yea, i've tried drifting in my 83, in the dirt and its hard as hell. Obvioulsy the good ol open diff didn't help, but I tended to over-oversteer too much and just fishtail everywhere. Oh yes, Tureno's do have more power like jeremy said. The first gen is probably the least powerful 80's sports car out there, but not by a whole lot.
