Mazdatrix used to carry them. Of course, any Mazda dealer should be able to order them for you too. Just flipped thru the Vic Brit catalog and didn't see them in there...

Am I calling the part by the correct name? Local Mazda dealer implied, a replacement door panel would be the only way to go. (ha,ha)

I appreciate the information!

I think I just refered to it as door lock trim. I've bought these a couple of times, and they are like 1.50 each or something like that...

Edit: here's a link. Mazdatrix calls it door lock trim too . Scroll to the bottom of the page

What ever you do, be sure and replace with new, which is most often the case for anything plastic or rubber.

Hey why not make your own? Of course I'm lookin to completely customize most of my interior, so I can't use the old plastic lock guides.

Desmantlers

Hey, for me the best place to find spare nick nacks and parts is at auto dismantlers. Especially for the 1st gen, they are like dime-a-dozen cars, so you should have no trouble finding all your parts, and they probably would be alot cheaper than store bought.

If you live near sacramento theres a great place i just went to today, they are a mazda only recycling place.
