dome lights stopped working?

My dome lights, my clock, and my little light next to the ignition just stopped working, also my hazards dont work but my turn signals do. Anyone have anyideas what it could be? they were working fine earlier in the day. I would really like to get this fixed by the end of the week. TIA

check your fuses under the dash. did your instrument panel lights go out too? You might need a new dimmer switch, and make sure your tail lights work too. I had a fuse blow thinking it was just interior lights but i got pulled over b/c my tails weren't working... hope that helps.

Anyone have any ideas, fuses doesnt make sense to me unless there is a fuse that controls just domelights and hazards.

What you are looking at above is the digram of wires coming from your battery. you will notice your symptoms are coming from the fuse.

Below here is where the fuse box is.

I hope this helps.

im looking at my haynes manual, says theres a 10 amp for the hazards and then the 15 amp your speaking of for the cigar lighter, interior light, key reminder buzzer & glass hatch release, my hatch release does work though. Do you think i need to replace the 10 amp & 15 amp? ill check out the fuses tomorrow after work, also how could i have blown the fuse? it wouldnt just randomly happen would it?

it happens.. maybe somebody was messing with the stereos? always disconnect battery when working on electrical... better yet just d/c the batt. whenever u work on ur car just for safety. make sure no wires touch each other if they arent suppose to. i learned my lesson many times.. takes patience. good luck

yeah, at the mecanic (spell,.,)shop , its a requirement. a wrench touches the wrong wire and you could ground it out. your not in any danger, its DC, the only danger is from the alternator.

Thats why I said check the fuses. talk to me tommorow. and we will figure something out.
