i looked, didnt get to much feed back on any after thoughts of taking off the rats nest, the car runs so good i wouldnt want to screw it up.
If done properly it will run like it was still there right ?

If done correctly, there should be no change in the way that the car runs. The main benefits of removal are a cleaner looking engine bay, and the old "if it ain't there, it can't cause problems". I have done this myself, and have never regretted it.
An old saying I am fond of fits real well here. "If it ain't broke, Don't fix it".
The rats nest removal doesn't really help much, unless there is a problem somewhere within the cluster of vacuum hoses and solinoids.
Plus, I see you are in Cali, so you *may* need to be concerned about emmission testing. You may or may not be required to get it inspected now, but who knows what the future holds.

Yup, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Removing the rats nest will cut down on the resale value too, since you can only sell it to people who live without inspections and are willing to drive illegally, not that any of us would do something like that.

Can somebody give me directions or give me a hand, I removed my ratsnest and im trying to figure out what hoses have to stay plugged in and what hoses I have to plug? I have a 12a 1985 GSL
