Do ported motors have more lope than non-ported?

Good for grins
I have always ported mine with the exhaust and primaries just slightly enlarged and smoothed up, but using the RB street port template for the secondaries. This gives excellent driveability, just like stock, and pretty good performance. They have always had a steady idle, as you would expect.
For my current 1st gen driver, I was given a set of brand new 12A rotor housings that some guy had ported who didn't know what he was doing. The exhaust ports were so big they were square, no kidding! Well I knew that wasn't right but they were brand new so I built it. I made a custom manifold for an RX4 carb. With a 12 pound RB aluminum flywheel, it idles like a hot rod V8, pretty lopey. The gas mileage seems to be about like all the other rotaries I have owned, and it runs well. But with a RB header and those big exhaust ports, it is LOUD. My exhaust guy gave up trying to make it quiet, told me to turn up the stereo.

I just put my new large SP in two weeks ago, and it has a bit of a lope. I like the lope, very distinctly rotary. The only downside is that it doesn't like to idled below 1k. That, and the gas milage seems low, but that is likely just a mapping issue that I haven't bothered with yet.
I love the sound of the bridgeport, sometimes I will start it up just to hear it idle.
Brap Brap Brap!! Got to love it!!
When I had a street port it loped when it was leaned out, but when you added fuel at idle it was smooth, anyone had a similar experience?

Yep, I bought a 13b at a swap meet with the tranny for $500 with a RX-4 carb on it. Got it home, installed it and it wouldn't idle for squat below 1500k and it had a lope. A year later I pull the carb and intake manifold off and stuck my finger in the intake port and sure enough, it was a bridge port! I got a holley 650 on the shelf just waiting to go in. Can't wait, the other thing is ........it is loud! I mean plain bust your ears can't think loud. I haven't worked the details on the exhaust yet.
