Do I need 2 or 4 O rings for the 85 12a oil cooler

Getting ready to fix the oil cooler leak on an 85 12a - Mazda dealer saying that his information is only showing 2 O rings on the bottom of the tower - I seem to remember a posting a while back talking about 4 O rings - 2 for the tower and 2 for the oil cooler - do I need to buy 4 or 2 O rings?

I am also planning on replacing the 2 coolant hoses - dealer wants $11.13 & $6.31 for the 2 hoses - any recommendations for another source that would be significantly less expensive? Assume that since I have to go to the trouble of removing the oil cooler, I should replace anything that will eventually fail with age?

Dealer says I need 2 washers for the hard oil line connection to the oil cooler (the banjo connection) - is this correct?

Is there anything else I should replace while I have the oil cooler off?
Do I have all the parts I will need listed above?
Any suggestions?

I was in the same position, I only bought 2. But yes, You do need 4, just get him to give you 2 extra o-rings of the same part number. There are 2 under the oil cooler, and then the other two are under the pedistil that mounts the oil cooler to the engine block, when you take everything apart it will be self explainatory. Those 10 mm bolts are a real pain to get at, I think my best luck was using a long extension bar and takeing them out from underneth the car. Good luck.
