I am 17 yrs old, can the title to a car be legaly transfered to my name?
or can i have legally bought'n my car?

anybody now the papers i would need?

do i need proof of insurrance?

HELP!!!! NOOB TO DMV!!!

But i would assume you need bill of sale, insurance, smog certificate or watever they give you and some id

 

I registered the SE a couple years ago even tho I'd lost the Bill Of Sale and Title card. The CA DMV person was very helpful and used a "low value vehicle transfer" to get it straightened out. My experience is that the DMV people are not as mean as we all fear.
