From: here, where ever that is.
Well, got a new dizzy installed, got spark. Got everything all hooked back up and it fired up fairly quick after having sat for years! Pretty geeked right now. Gotta finish up some wiring, well, say more then some, and finish off a bunch of odds and ends. Thanks fellas again for the help.

Good news!

Do you know what was wrong with the old dizzy? Is the new dizzy "new" or just a different one
thats in better shape?

It was rebuilt some years ago. It was going to go into a race car but never made it that far. I guess he car was sold and the dizzy went up on a shelf. As for hebold dizzy, my guess is that from sitting out in he Canadian elements for so long, the pick ups probably started to crap out. Anyway. I got a video of the first start, and I did a lot of work on the wiring this week, Sunday it should be back to road "legal" status.
