Well, I just tried making some back plates to mount the crossmember to the rocker panels...................... but this 1/8 inch plate got the best of me.

Looks like I'll need to either borrow or buy a brake to bend this stuff

Since I couldn't find a brake to bend the 1/8" base plates, I went ahead and fabbed up a few today. Nothing is welded in place yet. One side of the plate had to be angled to flow with the contour of the rocker panels.

Got the rocker panel base plates finished and tacked into place today. I also sawzawed more dead weight from the car.

I have someone willing to powdercoat the rearend for $80. Is that a good price?

Out of everything I've done with this car, cutting one wheel well out has been the toughest. You have to literally cut it out in peices and I still have lots of trimming to do.

Oh, notice how I removed the crossbar between the frame rails. I still need to finish/trim/smooth that off.

E&J Throttlebody, running (8) 1680cc injectors.

I'll run the 325's for now since this is a streetcar. If they don't hook (Which they should), I'll think about trying a different tire.

Got the passenger side tub cut out. I also built the shock mounts and back plates for the shock mounts.

Picked up the shock mounts from being tigged and did some more grinding/trimming. Just too dang cold in the garage, need heater.

I also picked up a interior and seats for my car since it didn't have much of one before. Going back to stock.
