did plugs kill my engine??? this is odd

blowing one apex seal is one thing

but haveing both rotors lose em at the same time is odd

i looked in the exuast ports too see the damage, and both blown seals are still mostly intact, except for a missing middle chunk, and a piece of rotor torn out
the u shaped chunk is 5mm wide or so
and identicle on both rotors

hmm
wtf
this is crazy
is there any recourse since these where supposed to be "rotary plugs"
btw they were autolights, the one that napa has on file for the 12a

perhaps your apex seals are chipping because of detonation. not enough spark du to crap plugs/wrong plugs, unburnt gas in the exhaust... i have heard of detonation causing some damage.

are you thinking the plugs were too long and protruded into the housing too far? my autolites were odd. they almost had no electrode tip. i dunno. like i said, after i installed them, my engine took a crap.

they could have chipped the apex seal. i would go back to the NGK. if you are concerned about cost, i'll mail you a set of used NGK's.
